Silver Sound's Brendan Murphy recently produced and edited a short film entitled "Lost Wax" for L'Ecole Van Cleef & Arpels. L'Ecole is a school in Paris offering a unique opportunity to discover and learn about jewlery making. The "Lost Wax" process is quite fascinating. It involves a skilled craftsman making an intricate 3d sculpture of a piece of jewlery out of wax. The wax will later be melted to create the mold for the piece. We had the pleasure of working with cinematographer Eric Westpheling on location at The Van Cleef & Arpels workshop in NYC.
